Editing and Canceling in the Schedule Tab

Learn how to edit patient details, manage appointment statuses, and cancel appointments using the Schedule tab in LinkHMS.

Status of Patient:

  • When viewing the Schedule, you can see the current status of each patient. The color-coded statuses, such as Unconfirmed, Confirmed, Waiting, and others, help to quickly identify the state of the appointment.

  • To update the status of a patient, click on the scheduled appointment and select the appropriate status from the dropdown menu:

    • Patient Confirmed

    • Patient Arrived

Editing Appointment Information:

  • To modify the details of an existing appointment, locate the appointment on the schedule grid and click on it.

  • In the pop-up menu, select Edit.

  • You can change various details, such as the selected doctor, the time slot, and other relevant fields.

  • After making the necessary changes, click Update to save the appointment.

💡Note:

The appointment duration is automatically set based on the service's time configured in the Administration tab.

Canceling an Appointment:

  • To cancel an appointment, click on the appointment and choose Cancel from the dropdown menu.

  • A confirmation window will appear. If you're sure, click Yes to confirm the cancellation.

  • The appointment will be removed from the schedule, freeing up the time slot for other appointments.
