To maintain full access to LinkHMS, it’s important to keep your subscription payment information up to date. This article outlines what happens if a payment fails, how to resolve it, and what access changes occur if the subscription isn’t renewed.
Accessing Subscription Settings
Navigate to Settings:
As an admin, click on Settings in the side menu.
Open the Subscription Tab:
In Settings, go to the Subscription tab to view your payment details, renewal date, and billing summary.
Subscription Renewal and Notifications
Next Billing Date: You’ll see your next charge date in the top right corner of the Subscription tab.
Reminder for Subscription Renewal: Prior to your renewal date, a red icon (!) will appear next to the Subscription tab if payment information is missing or needs updating.
What Happens If Your Payment Fails?
If the subscription payment is not successful on the due date, LinkHMS will display a warning notification with a red icon (!) next to the Subscription tab and the Settings icon. The notification message will read: Please consider renewing your subscrtiption to continue using LinkHMS and get full access to its all featires.
System Access After Failed Payment:
Access Limitations for Admin: The day after a failed payment, only the admin will have access to the Settings page to update billing information or contact support.
Access Restrictions for Other Users: All other user roles will be unable to log in. If they attempt to log in, they’ll see a message: You cannot log in because the subscription was not renewed. Please contact your admin for further details.
If users were logged in at the time of the failed payment, they will be automatically logged out.
Multiple Workspaces: If you have access to multiple workspaces, you’ll receive a notification indicating that you cannot log into some workspaces due to an unpaid subscription.
